Good morning, Everyone

New spring/summer shows have been added to the calendar including a return visit to the wonderful Trails, Tales and Tunes Festival in Norris Point, Newfoundland and my first international tour gets under way in less than two weeks. I’ll be heading to England for a number of shows across the country. The band and I will also be happily returning to the Newfoundland and Labrador Folk Festival stage this August and we’ll be making our first appearance at the Writer’s at Woody Point Festival alongside our pal, Alan Doyle and legendary Canadian writer, Michael Ondaatje. I look forward to seeing old friends and making new ones on the road!

I’m happy to announce that I’ll be opening for my new friend Rose Cousins on the St. John’s leg of her album release tour. Her album, We Have Made a Spark is beautiful and her live show is fantastic. Tickets are available at Fred’s Records, O’Brien’s Music and Rocket Bakery. The Show takes place on May 8. I’m happy and honoured to announce that Songs for Searchers has been nominated for an East Coast Music Award. We’re up for Pop/Rock Recording of the Year and will be heading to Moncton to showcase on the Rising Star Stage. I will also be taking part in the Bluebird North Songwriter’s Circle.
